The Barstow Chapter set out for an early morning scouting on Taylor Ridge. Judging by their jubilant mood upon return, it’s a fair guess to say they were successful! They report that the #KCT is unseasonably lush this year with water flowing at 5500’, wildflowers galore, and green green green! Deer Creek trailhead to Taylor Ridge to KCT and back makes for a fine loop! Shod with the plump 650b tires the @elephantbikes CX made for a cush ride. We’ll give it a shot later this week with proper CX 700s!
